Stop Ecocide; Jojo Mehta at the UKELA Conference 2020

Stop Ecocide's co-founder Jojo Mehta presented to the UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA) conference on 26th June as part of a panel on "The Rule of Law and the Environment". This is her 15 minute speech. Since the speech, President Macron of France has publicly declared that he "shares the ambition" of the French citizens assembly on climate to establish an international crime of ecocide. www.stopecocide.earth

My Comment: I attended the mock Ecocide trial featuring Michael Mansfield and others back in 2011. It is an interesting idea that appears to be gaining some traction.
