Rupert Bedford (Director)
Following a career as a lawyer for over 20 years, Rupert switched to more creative ways of addressing social justice and environmental issues and retrained in documentary filmmaking through the BBC affiliated National Film & Television School and in Photojournalism at the SPEOS International Photographic Institute in Paris. Rupert has since made a series of short documentary films, video journalism and online video on subjects ranging from community wildlife conservation in Africa to human trafficking in Vietnam, and from prison choir projects in the UK to community education projects in Kenya.
Crystal Yu (Narrator)
Crystal is best known as the feisty Registrar Dr. Lily Chao on BBC One's award-winning medical drama Casualty. Crystal joins the cast in the pilot episode of HBO's Industry, directed by Lena Dunham. Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, the show is set in the financial world in the aftermath of the 2008 collapse. Crystal also made an appearance in BBC's second season of Keeping Faith as Dr. Sarah Collins. Taking on this role was quite a challenge because the series is filmed in both English and Welsh!
May Kindred Boothby (Animator)
May is an accomplished animator who is known for her distinctive hand drawn animation and is behind productions such as I Have a Message for You produced with the New York Times, and My Stolen Childhood, a BBC production nominated for The Grierson Award for Best Documentary Short. She is based in Bristol, UK.
