This tour includes a visit to LUMO Community Wildlife Sanctuary in Tsavo…
Community-owned Conservancies are part of a vital network of wildlife corridors used by East Africa’s big animals, and provide sanctuary for a huge variety of wildlife, as well as directly benefiting the local people. This short documentary by Ru Bedford highlights the fragile nature of their ecosystem and the delicate balance involved in conserving wildlife alongside the open cattle ranches.
Visit an inspiring coastal community education project run by our friends at ETATU…
ETATU is a UK registered charity founded by Jacquie Lindgren, who spent her early childhood years in Kenya. This short film by Ru Bedford highlights the work of the charity in improving educational capacity, particularly for girls, in and around the coastal communities of Msambweni in Kenya.
And take a snorkel safari in the Indian Ocean with our friend ‘Captain’ Ali, who runs the Msambweni Turtle and Marine Conservation Trust
Adapted 4 x 4 Vehicle, Expert Safari Guide, Unlimited Game Drives
Our Photo Safaris are aimed at the hobby or enthusiast photographer who is looking to capture some wonderful shots of nature and wildlife within the majestic landscapes and reserves of East Africa.
We will travel in a 4 x 4 vehicle especially adapted for photographers.
We will travel in a specially modified, open sided 4 x 4 vehicle, specifically designed to meet the needs of photographers. With a wooden side bar to support your camera, bean bags of your choice (3 different types available) and a roll up canvas to offer a wider range of movement, the vehicles are well adapted to making it easier for you to capture those all important shots.
Ru Bedford will be personally leading this trip. Ru will be joined by an expert local safari guide who will be trained in the flora/fauna of the reserves that we visit as well as in safari photography.
A key aspect of this safari is that, with our own vehicle, our schedule will be completely flexible in accordance with your photographic requirements, and our game drives will effectively be unlimited (subject to park rules & guidelines). This means that the game drives will be more than just the usual ‘early morning & evening drives’ and will ensure that we maximise shooting time during the ‘golden hour’ as well as other aspects. As a group we can decide whether we’d like to stay out ALL morning with a picnic breakfast or even FULL DAY with packed breakfast or lunch. You may also enjoy a much longer afternoon drive - so timings are unlimited as long as they tie in with the recommended park rules & guidelines.

Experience Africa.
Capture memories of a lifetime.
